As I reflect on the stunning wedding I had the pleasure of capturing in late December, I am filled with a sense of awe and wonder. Shangler and Markensia's special day at the enchanting Virginian hotel in Lynchburg, Virginia was nothing short of a fairy tale come to life.

From the moment I arrived at the hotel, I could sense the air of luxury and elegance that surrounded the event. The historic setting lent a timeless quality to the festivities, making it feel as though we had stepped back in time to a more glamorous era.

As I watched the bride and groom exchange vows amidst a sea of flowers and shimmering candles, I couldn't help but be moved by the intimacy and warmth of the moment. It was as though time stood still, allowing us all to bask in the glow of their love and commitment.

But it wasn't just the setting that made this wedding so special. It was the people – Shangler and Markensia's friends and family who had traveled from Haiti to be there on this momentous occasion. Their presence filled the air with joy and laughter, adding an extra layer of meaning to the day.
