As Jay and I journeyed to Claytor Nature Center in Bedford, Virginia, our souls were filled with the anticipation of capturing the magical love story of Carolyn and Josh. Two passionate naturalists, these beautiful souls were also VT alumni, adding an extra layer of connection to our hearts.

Walking into the historic and stately home where Carolyn was getting ready, we were transported to a world of elegance and warmth. Her family had traveled all the way from New York, and their sweet and welcoming nature immediately made us feel like part of the family.

The day unfolded like a dream, with every moment steeped in beauty and love. From the charming historic home to the well-manicured grounds, each frame we captured was a timeless piece of art. After the heartfelt wedding ceremony, we embarked on a hike with the couple, immersing ourselves in the beauty of nature and love.

The evening was filled with joy and laughter at the exciting reception, with a live band setting the perfect tone for celebration. As the night drew to a close, instead of a traditional exit, we found ourselves sharing a picnic with the family by the serene New River, the sounds of nature's melodies wrapping us in a cozy blanket of togetherness.
