A Magical Celtic Wedding: A September Day to Remember

There are some weddings that we, as photographers, just can't get enough of. The kind that leaves a lasting impression, not only because of the beautiful couple and their love, but also because of the unique theme and atmosphere that surrounds the celebration. Today, we're thrilled to share one such wedding with you, a magical Celtic-themed celebration that took place in September.

The Setting: Misty Greens and Enchanting Views

The day was misty and green, perfect for a Celtic wedding. The venue, situated just outside of the Thorn Spring Golf Course in Pulaski, Virginia, provided a stunning backdrop for the celebration. The rolling hills, lush fairways, and misty air created an enchanted atmosphere that made us feel as though we had stepped into a dreamy, otherworldly landscape.

The Music: Bagpipes and Timeless Melodies

No Celtic wedding would be complete without the haunting melodies of a bagpiper. Dressed in a traditional kilt, the talented piper led the procession and filled the air with the stirring sounds of the bagpipes. The music was a powerful reminder of the rich cultural history that the couple was celebrating and honoring on their special day.

The Cake: A Whimsical, Woodland Touch

The wedding cake was a delightful surprise, featuring a custom needle-felted bear and fox cake topper. The adorable woodland creatures added a touch of whimsy to the elegant, three-tiered cake, making it a true centerpiece of the reception.

The wedding ceremony was a beautiful blend of traditional Celtic customs and modern-day romance.
